Louisiana Seafood Festival Will Showcase
More than 50 Seafood Dishes

NEW ORLEANS, La. (August 31, 2015) – This year’s Louisiana Seafood Festival will be home to 25 food vendors showcasing 51 seafood dishes, as well as 5 non-seafood dishes and 5 dessert items. Each of the six Louisiana seafood species is represented in the festival’s ever-growing eclectic menu – dishes including alligator, fish, crab, shrimp, crawfish and oysters.
“Our restaurants and caterers have put some incredible thought and talent into their menus for this year’s festival,” said Tony Abadie, Foundation Vice President. “City Park will be transformed into a food paradise. This festival is a must-stop for food loving locals and visitors to New Orleans.”
In addition to the multitude of food available from vendors, there will be celebrity chef cooking demonstrations each day in the WWL-TV Cooking Pavilion.
