The Dishes are Confirmed for 2014 Louisiana Seafood Festival
 
NEW ORLEANS, La. (September 29, 2014) – The 2014 Louisiana Seafood Festival is less than two weeks away and the details on the dishes are confirmed. The event includes 22 food vendors from across south Louisiana providing a diverse selection of Louisiana seafood dishes that are sure to please any palate.
 
There will be 54 featured food items at the festival, ranging in price from $3 to $10:
 
Andrea’s Restaurant

  • Crawfish Ravioli – homemade pasta pockets stuffed with crawfish and a
    crawfish sauce
  • Eggplant Crabcake Andrea – fresh LA crabmeat and eggplant cake, topped with lump crabmeat and marinara sauce

Recipes feature TABASCO® brand Original Pepper Sauce at the end of their menu
 
Antoine’s Restaurant

  • Baked Alaska – pound cake, vanilla ice cream, meringue, and chocolate
    sauce
  • Oyster, Artichoke & Andouille Sausage – served with a white wine cream sauce over bow tie pasta
  • Shrimp Ravigote – cold Louisiana Gulf shrimp in a house made mayonnaise seasoned with pimento, anchovy and green onions

 
Bacchus Bistro

  • Shrimp on French – seasoned LA gulf shrimp tossed in a tarragon aioli
  • and served on a French baguette
  • Sausage Links – a BBQ shrimp sausage and a red beans and rice sausage, served over a bed of coleslaw
  • Bacchus Bread Pudding – chocolate ganache bread pudding with a raspberry and caramel sauce

 
Blue Crab Restaurant

  • Pontchartrain Shrimp Pasta – sautéed shrimp in a light, creamy alfredo sauce

  • Louisiana BBQ Shrimp Wrap – with fresh greens, TABASCO® Brand Green Jalapeño Sauce aioli and house pico de gallo wrapped in a sun dried tomato tortilla

  • Fried Shrimp BLT – six-inch poboy with fried shrimp, bacon, lettuce, tomato and meunière butter on French bread
  • Shrimp Remoulade – six shrimp atop shredded iceberg lettuce with remoulade sauce

  • Shrimp & Alligator Sausage Cheesecake – a three-cheese quiche with fresh gulf shrimp and alligator sausage, set in a parmesan crust and topped with a creole tomato sauce
  • Slow Roasted Duck PoBoy – slow roasted duck tossed in jalapeño gravy, served on French bread and topped with a green apple coleslaw
